Have you ever wondered how to clean your windows mosquito mesh? Many people struggle to figure out the best method. This is because they only have a limited view of the process. Let us take a look at a few ways to properly clean your windows mosquito mesh so you don’t find yourself in this situation again.

Many people may think that it’s best to use a window cloth when cleaning their windows, but this isn’t always the case. Window cloths are designed for occasional wiping on glass surfaces, not for deep-cleaning, and they’re also created with cheap materials which can lead to damage over time. Instead, use something like car wax or another type of cleaning solution that doesn’t require frequent reapplication or expensive materials like expensive microfiber cloths.

The First Step You Should Take Before You Start Cleaning Your Windows Mosquito Net

If you have a window with a mosquito mesh installed, you may want to clean the mesh as it will help to prevent mosquitos from entering your home.

The first step is to remove the screws that hold the top corners of the window in place. After removing these screws, gently pull outwards on the side of the window until it pops up.

Use a cloth or a vacuum cleaner to remove any dirt or debris from the inside of your windows. Apply some window cleaner and wipe it over your entire area including inside of your windows and outside surfaces.

4 Most Effective Tips On How To Clean Your Windows Mosquito Mesh

1. Keep It Effortless:

This is probably the most common method of keeping window meshes sparkling clean.

Items you need:

    • A dry and soft piece of fabric
    • Double-sided tape or masking tape.

How To:

Use the dry piece of fabric to repel dust by gently wiping over the window mosquito netting. Some parts of the window net are difficult to clean, so use either double-sided tape or masking tape to remove the dirt.

2. Use Vacuum Cleaner:

Another way to keep your windows mosquito mesh clean is to vacuum up the dust.

Items you need:

    • Vacuum cleaner
    • Soft brush attachment.

How To:

Use a vacuum cleaner with a soft brush attachment to remove all dust bunnies and cow patties. All the dirt will be sucked into the vacuum bag without making a mess.

There are a lot of things that come up when you have a vacuum cleaner. It makes it easier to get rid of unwanted dirt, leaves, dead bugs or other objects that may be blocking the mesh.

Come home to clean air and a fantastic view.

3. Get Rid Of Dust With Ammonia:

Sometimes mosquito nets for windows can have greasy stains and wet dust. Cleaning then can turn into a nightmare. But don’t worry, we have a safe way to make sure there are no fatalities.

Items you need:

    • Water
    • Household ammonia
    • Spray bottle
    • Soft cloth

How To:

Mix one part ammonia with three parts water to make a cleaning solution. Pour the solution into the spray bottle. Spray the flyscreen generously with the solution and wipe it with a soft cloth. Be amazed at your new and shiny mosquito screens for windows.

4. The Effective Old Method:

Items you need:

    • Dishwashing liquid
    • Bucket
    • Water
    • Soft cloth

This is a straightforward way to clean your window panes. Put water in a bucket and add plenty of dishwashing liquid. Make a solution, use the soft cloth and rub vigorously to loosen the dust from the mosquito nets of the windows. Avoid using wire brushes and abrasive cleaners, as this may cause scratches on the window screen. If the window mosquito nets are removable, this method is easier to use because the window screens can be cleaned without dirtying the house and dry faster.
